In the owners manual they show two switches, an early and a late. Mine appears to be a late model switch but the jumper straps that run between the connector screws look more like the early switch. Can anyon enlighten me about how the wiring attaches to this switch? I'm getting a new wiring harness and one company will sort it out but the other won't.
I'm attaching a picture of my switch in case anyone knows why this switch is differen and how it will affect my wiring up the headlights.

I don't know if this will help but the wiring for both switches is shown in this illustration. There is a small difference between the two but the company making the loom should be able to match the colors listed for your 39 switch to the wires in their loom.
