Hand Brake cable routing

On my 1937 120C Touring Sedan, I was wondering if anyone had any pictures or drawings showing the routing of the hand brake cable. The pictures I have were taken in lower light and I really cannot tell how it is supposed to go.
Thanks to all for any information you might be able to provide.

Others know better than I do but the photo below shows how NOT to do it! I discovered this yesterday on my 1951 Henney-Packard where it was run below and dragging on the chassis rather than through the hole above.

I thank you all for the information you have provided. I shall print off these pictures and see about getting mine installed properly.
Again, I do thank you.

This is great. Now, do you have anything on how it is routed into the passenger compartment? Does it come up between the lower firewall and body, or through one of the holes in the upper firewall? I am suspecting the former myself.
Thanks again.

Interesting how the frame comes almost to a point up front.

It doesn't. You're looking at the place where the side rail and the center cross X come together but the other side has the same thing so not a point as it appears!

Scan 007 - above - should tell the story. The cable comes up through the toe board and cowl wall. It is secured with a cable clamp on a bracket.
