I have been wondering if there are other retail sources for parts than Kanter and Max Merritt?

Even the most difficult situations can be learning situations.

Tucson Packardshttps://www.tucsonpackard.com and Patrician Industries are a couple of others having some NOS and also used parts. Don't believe Patrician has a website but Joel has an ebay storehttps://www.ebay.com/str/packards1 and is also a frequent contributor on this forum. Dwight Heinmullerhttps://www.packardparts.org has a few repro items and there are several other places dealing in used parts.

Look on The Packard Club website for the yellow pages. It might have a few more places to look for parts.
https://www.packardclub.org

Just like this site, the packard club website also has a wanted and for sale section in the forum area, as well as a classified link on the home page. The Packard club Facebook page has posters sometimes selling parts.

There is also eBay, Craigslist and Facebook marketplace to look for parts.

Jeff Adkins, Moose Motors, Penngrove (Petaluma), CA:
packardguy54@sbcglobal.net

Jeff's specialized in Packards all his life; has much NOS mechanical, electrical, brake inventory. He can correctly rebuild Packard clutches, which are finer than the F-series Ford truck clutches many use these days.
Tell him Mike, '47 Super Clipper in Walnut Creek, CA referred you.
