Front Suspension Bushings

In the Xreference list both TRW 12122 and 44-12309 are shown as bushings for the upper control arm of the 55 - 56 Packards. Will either work for both front and rear or is one front and the other rear?

Auto Zone has both in stock.

Any help will be much appreciated. This will put my 400 back on the road.

Thanks,
Bernardi

Front and rear are both the same.
Ford D3AZ-3068-A as listed below the other 2 in the Xreference also works.

DBeB - Thanks for the input.

I take it that all three bushings work equally well. We'll see which is the most economical.

Riki,
I do not think you want to use polyurethane. Others may have a different opinion, but I was always told that the rubber bushings help the TL suspension have stiffness, see Service Technical bulletin 55T-! Dealer 1, January 17, 1955 found on this site.

Aside from old dry rubber, one thing mentioned to hasten cracking is not having the suspension in the middle when tightening the bushings down.
