I am looking for a pair of Trippe T6 12-volt bulbs that fit their Trippe Beam headlight assemblies. Any help in locating a pair is appreciated. Thanks.

Added information: They look like the photo. Dual filament, and have 3 terminals that connect to a standard sealed beam wiring plug.

It looks as if I may have solved my problem. I have adapted H4 type bulbs to the Trippe reflector-housings. If interested, I can post my work on this on the Project Blog section. The H4s come in 12- and 6-volt versions.

JW,

I was just getting ready to post this link for you, and I also had kept my eyes peeled when I was at Hershey for the correct bulbs.
Anyway here's the link for a current ebay item:

By all means, please provide your info on Modern H$ Upgrades to Trippe lights. They'll be handy to many folks!!

Rich, thanks for the lead, and for your efforts at Hershey. I have contacted the eBay seller. The H4s are bright and throw a nicely patterned beam. My headlight need to be aimed to optimize the lighting. I have a busy weekend, but will post my project to fit the H4s to the Trippe housings afterwords.

Pleased to hear you survived Sandy without any directly related problems. Family and friends who live in the affected areas are also okay. Others were not so fortunate.
