Mixed amongst the usual Soviet vehicles are some '50s and '60s American cars including what appears to be a '51 Packard in Moscow.

It looks more like a 1952 with the pointed porta-vents and no "PACKARD" on the hood. Interesting pictures - thank you.

WOW!! The gaz-24.com is a great website. Wish i knew how to read and write hieroglyphics. I'm sure there is magnificant amout of exchange of ideas and knowledge that could be shared between the Russian and the US Vintage Tin gear heads of the world. We need to expand out horizons.

I mite try to post something there anyway. I'll Have to do it english but maybe it will work out someway. Too bad the various websites of the world do not have language translation capacity.

All of this makes me wonder why so many of our international members are Oz, EC, British, and Scandanavian but no Asian, Eastern europe nor south AMerican.

What is it, just a language barrier or what???

I think that the main reasons for the lack of members from Asia, Eastern Europe and South America, are economical, historical trade relations and language.
