Still a work in progress as to the best way of finishing the thin edges without the fiberglass construction being obvious with just a look.

It's just a thought but maybe the edges can actually be laminated in as steel, leaving the fiberglass for the larger and more complicated contoured area.

File and sand the edges smooth. Just as would be done with ANY other material.

So did the glass from Bob's work okay for you Howard? I was debating whether to order glass from there or price it locally to have it cut for my '46?

Glass fit perfectly and they made good on one piece that was broken in shipping. Still good to get local prices if you have good patterns for them to work with.

Howard, as I work on replacing the wiring for my Headlights. I notice a support bar that goes in front of the radiator and was wondering if you had one? I don't know if I have a spare or not but I will look around if you need one.

Wes, I have one but interesting is the bolting flange on mine was damaged similar but not quite as bad as the way yours is. Mine was off the car so am not sure which way it mounts. I mounted my bracket lower down with the cable on top.

Howard, mine is as you see it in the picture, with the cable running along the bottom. The bracket is sandwiched between the fender and the Splash Guard that goes on top.
