Sounds like a crock to me. The car probably went through a chop shop with the intent of doing weddings and the open roof bit was for pictures.

It's obviously been rather heavily abuse given all the missing parts.

Commenting on R1Lark noteworthy comment. The statement you referrenced is in line with the "New Math" philosophy e.g. if you can present good logic that 2+2 = 5 then it is correct. It doesn't need to be correct.

1940 120 partially disassembled. Definitely ambitious project:

"Mid 50s" with ultramatic. Rough. Price is right?

"Barn Find" 2277 48 Limo, not running, looks complete and largely un-altered but stagnant. Not sure if the price includes random robin's egg blue fender in the back seat:

Hi Chris, I think that '40 would be a good car to investigate further. For a rebuilt engine, its not presented well as one would expect. Whether costly thing like the interior are correct would take more study. The wood-grain appliques need to be done is obvious. He shows the empty left side-mount well, wonder if it and the hardware are missing?

Pretty clean looking '40 - 180; would you say it was 'priced to sell' Steve?? They don't highlight the engine in the pics much, and the one they do show is out of focus and looks a little rough. Even so, do you think that price point would make it a 'chaser'? Chris.

'55 Clipper Super , $4k - the interior is in amazing condition.

"Field Find!!! Ran until parked 15 years ago. All glass is intact. It still has the plastic covers on front and back seats. No missing parts. I found it and just have too many other projects to take care of this beautiful "boat"."
