Panama looks nice from a distance. I like the all black exterior. Wonder what the interior is like. The Constellation (not Caribbean) is not as nice.

This is not CL, but on Kijiji the site that alot of Canadians post their classic cars for sale.

This 1954 Packard Patrician looks good and has been available for a while, with the price falling from an initial $12,000 plus, the seller wants it sold now.

I have no relationship with the seller but I feel it should go to a person who will appreciate it.

The car is located about an hour north of Toronto, on beautiful Georgian Bay.

BTW $8,700 CDN is $8,100 USD.

Wouldn't that be a deal ...

It seems odd to me that this guy would want a Cadillac 500 cid engine for a car such as this. It would add a lot of weight to the front end and as I recall from a friend's 1969 DeVille convertible, the only thing the 500 waa especially good at was consuming gasoline.

The 352 cid that came with this car was a big block too, but at least it had an excuse -- it was a best Packard could do in 1956 and it was a good engine overall.

Maybe his ex got angry after the seller cashed her paycheck to cover filling up his tank with premium.

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...
