1956 Packard Executive 4 door Sedan-42,000 miles, second owner car, original owner was a Packard Dealer out of Deerfield Mass. Transmission was rebuild by a man with Packard Talent. Well worth looking into......

Yes I saw that 400. For the asking price, perhaps some honest negotiating, you could have a nice car for $7000. Appears nice and the seller includes some photos most craig listers do not.

Still, it will have to reach the right audience, Craigs List probably won't cut it but if the seller was a PAC member, and put it in the CNB, I'll bet it would change hands within 8 weeks or so, especially in the middle of summer when it can still be enjoyed in the next few months before being put away.

That 56 Executive is a ridiculously GREAT price for the car and what it represents. The interior looks like you could clean the seats and door panels, the body is as rust free and straight as you are going to find an Executive project.

When I checked it out (the link) it had 33 watchers but no bids. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? People are so gun shy.

It's too far away for me in Iowa or else I would bid on it.

The only other 2 door Executive I have seen photos of is a disassembled car in suburban Chicago for $1000.

Not even close, here you get a complete car, no guessing and so much to save and not spend money on.
