A new twist on "ran when parked." The owner of the '52 200 up in Madison says, "very very close to firing [but] might have a stuck piston."

That '55 Clipper is a real steal in humble opinion. Everything about it looks terrific and it has air conditioning! What more could anyone ask for? And the price is very, very good. I would be very surprised if someone doesn't grab this one real fast.

I wish I could buy it. It would be a great complement to my Constellation!

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...

Yes. Seems ok. Someone put considerable time and care and effort into that 55. Price is in the ball park. Is it a high optioned car? Radio and power seat etc. No test drive is of concern. Click on my link below. I will sell for slightly less and may be test driven as soon as the snow is gone from our side streets.

Is there anyone from the St. Louis area that knows this car. A friend is very interested in it. I told him the asking price of $39,000 was certainly on the retail side, but wouldn't be worth anything near that if it was in need of an engine overhaul. It appears from the photos that it was restored properly. We are interested in knowing the actual condition of the car, and the condition of the engine.

Hi

A bit of this, a bit of that:

A '39 120, rare dark-gray mouse fur interior:
http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/4853105526.html

A sweet little blue '40 110 club coupe:
http://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/4862360702.html

A handsome two-tone green '52 200 Deluxe:
http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4873612397.html

A '51 Henney hearse project, cheaply priced:
http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4806916855.html

A '53 Clipper parts car/ambitious project with stick shift:
http://roanoke.craigslist.org/cto/4862314241.html

Frankly, that overpowered '28 looks like a dangerously fast last ride when the 87 year old suspension and steering is driven past its capability if the original wheels are any indication.
