I ran across a tempting addition but realize that price needs to be considered. 1947 Custom Super Touring Sedan (no pix, dark storage). Original or one respray in orig black. Very solid body, one small hood dent. presentable exterior, not pristine. Original interior, driver's seat wear, dash top grain faded. Very well optioned - OD, skirts, grille guards, etc. Hasn't run in 15 years, rumored to need waterpump.

I see it as address mechanics, polish up and use rather than
restoration. Ideas on value?

I use the free online tools. Classic car value www.caaarguide.com and hagerty.com/valuationtools. Just have to know approx condition #. There are indices for that. Gives a good range of pricing at current values.
