OK Guys, hopefully a simple question - who is the best rebuilder for the pump and cylinder for a 54 Power Steering setup? A friend of mine just called with the "....while I've got it apart.." question. Thanks! DAF

Based on my own experience, Lares is highly recommended. They are also I believe the source for the rebuilt pumps bought from the usual Packard vendors. For the cylinder, folks generally do them themselves with kits available from the usual folks, though a rebuilt may be adviseable if the shaft it pitted or it's otherwise damaged.
