Over the past twenty plus years never installed the air filter gaskets. Was told not necessary as I drive on regular paved roads. Anyway, wanted to install, have been told there are two needed, one large and one larger, no one sells because they are easy to make. I don't see where they go, perhaps maybe one, but two?
Sounds crazy but can anyone explain where they go and the diameters
Thanks senile!!!

If you separate the bath element (optional oil bath unit) from the silencer and look at the thing you will see two sealing surfaces. If those leak you will not have proper filtration and the element can clog as well. They may be there already but you never noticed them.

If you have the standard gravel strainer filter then look for one in the cap and one under the element. That unit is a joke really.
