Wow, what a beautiful '39 Packard coupe.

In one of the pics I noticed that the interior rear windows even had wood molding around them. Now that's attention to detail.

It would be interesting to know what the reserve is for such a car.

Does anyone know if any Packards are going to be at Hot August Nights here in Reno next weekend?

kind regards
Garrett Meadows

That's not wood around the windows, it is faux/simulated woodgrain painted on pressed metal.

As for Hot August Nights in Reno, you never know what may turn up there.

Thank you for the clarification. As is obvious, I'm still in the learning curve.

Last year's Hot August Nights, there were very few--that I saw-- Pre-War cars.

I did stop to talk to one guy who had a beautifully restored 1938 Chevrolet business coupe. He couldn't answer any questions I asked about his car, prompting me to think, "Here's a rich guy who's flaunting his wealth, spending a couple of days in Reno for something to do."

kind regards
