Dear All,

I have finally gotten around to posting some of the Warren video footage. So far, I have uploaded two of our trip from MN to OH, and three from the show. Be forewarned: if you are prone to motion sickness you may want to avoid these!

To see them, go here:

Cheers,

Tom

p.s. I recommend clicking the 'high quality' link just below the video player.

Tom,

You are a brave couple. MN to OH! Looked like fun!

Where did you cross on the ferry? WI to MI I suppose?

Now was the Berger train in the trunk of a Packard? You know, I have never seen anything like that before. You should go on the road for Rilpey's Believe It or Not -- except, I think they are out of business.

Anyway, Thanks for the movies and tour.
How much sooner would I have to start from SD? I am 270 MI from Mpls-StPaul.

The SS Badger is the only coal fired steamship ferry left in the U.S. It runs from Manitowoc, WI to Ludington, MI.

That train is Randy Berger's, and is the back of his Caribbean. It runs of the car's electrical system.

If you are in a pre-war car, going 45-50 mph, then at least a day earlier, probably two. The trip from St. Paul to Warren took 5 days.

The attached photo shows us at the start of the trip.

Cheers,

Tom

sweet! i am setting up a train that runs around my to be here soon son's room. i will post some pics of it running when i get it up.

i am staining the shelves right now. the track is my grandfather's old HO setup and i even have his trains, although i will be using my train and his cars behind it so i don't mess up the old engine. plus it runs off rubber bands and mine doesn't.

hope to go to Warren one day with the new kid too ;0)
