Yes, it lives not far from me and we've been to a number of meets together over the past 25 years or so. It was recently reported as sold to someone in CA but apparently the sale fell thru. I believe the first photo was taken at the CCCA Grand Classic in Mt. Olive NJ some years back. Despite the Super Eight headlight and parking light lenses it IS an 1100 - 703, same as mine.

I had a chance to marvel at O-D's Packard earlier this year, and trust me that is 1 beautiful original 34 he has!

Thanks BDC for the nice words. I was lucky indeed not only to buy from the original owner, but also to get a car that up until a year before I bought it was regularly serviced first by Packard/Brooklyn (the selling dealership) and then later by Packard/11th Ave., NYC, driven by a caring chauffeur, and never off the road for any extended time.

I know that car intimately.

It was owned by Anthony Celentano of Celentano Foods. He had the car painted by Rich Fass and Tommy Cavana at the same shop that did Bill Hirsch's work. That was in 1973. The paint job used Hirsch lacquer and held up well with only an age crack around the left front fender bead when I last saw it in 2001. The striping was done by Marty Beron. I delivered the car to Marty.

The Super 8 headlights were on the car when Tony bought it. I notice the rear seat back has deteriorated, but otherwise, with the exception of the underhood motor paint and tires the car is unchanged. When Tony had it the car had a set of Goodyear black wall tires.

It is a straight and solid original car. However, the price is on the steep side owning only to the superior paint job. The motor was very good when Tony had it and he used it sparingly as per an original car. I once passed him in Livingston when he was taking friends out (to diner?) in the car. He was clearly enjoying himself. He kept it in a heated garage.

Every time I see the car it brings back good memories of Tony (a real old school guy).
