The MotorCities National Heritage Area posts and item each week and today they highlight 1950's Designing Women of Packard. They talk about Dorothy Draper and MaryEllen Green Dohrs.

By the way, the write up discusses Fran Hale, Margaret Dunning and MaryEllen speaking at a "recent" PAC national convention. That actually was the 2013 Meet in the Motor City and they spoke at the PPG. If you want to hear speakers at such as this, then you need to attend National Meets.

Finally, they mention that Margaret is 103. Yes, we celebrated her 103rd birthday at that National Meet. But in June of this year she turned 104 - she is still going strong and taking her Packard around on the concours circuit.

Margaret and her Packard are scheduled to be special guests at the "Concorso Santa Fe" (Sep. 26-28). Looking forward to meeting and talking with her. I volunteer for this event and enjoy helping to make it successful. It is getting better and better each year. Come to Santa Fe, it is an especially nice time of year to visit northern New Mexico.
