I found a 352 in a salvage yard & grabbed the water manifold and the vibration dampener. It had decent manifolds on it but I left those, other wise it was very rusty. I pealed open the oil pan just in case it had a forged crank....nope :(
Early '56 casting date with an "S" code stamped on the pad.
Thought this water neck could be for a Stude or Hudson application?
Should anyone need it or the dampener, just let me know.

Very curious. I wonder if it's a Packard part? Not the same but very similar to the water neck used on the Panthers; they are also right-angle but not cast, rather made from sheet steel.

Thanks. It's a dull day that you don't learn something new.

1956 Golden Hawk, that originally came with an UltraMatic behind it. The 'S' indicates UltraMatic, and 'K' indicates 3 speed/OD
