Does anyone know how to adjust the camber on a 1956, 400?
Are there any special tools needed?
Asking for a friend, have not looked myself.
Thanks,
Richard

Servicing the suspension is detailed in section 16 of the 55-6 service manual. You can download the manual or just a particular section from the literature page if you need to go into the suspension for more than an adjustment.

Looks like no special tools other than what appears to be an ordinary crowfoot wrench for just the caster/camber adjustment and the bars do not need to be held or unloaded unless you need to remove and rotate the supper support bracket. Here is the procedure as taken from the manual.

This may help you visualize the adjustment, you're just rotating the pin up to a 1/2 turn; the eccentric (center) portion of the pin moves the top of the knuckle in or out. In this MOOG service part, the pin is rotated by removing one of the grease fittings which gives access to a recessed Allen head in the pin end. I don't recall which year/model this pin kit is for, but the principle is the same. One rubber grease seal not shown in the photo.
