Roaming through some old Packard body styles I came across the runabout and convertible coupe. Is the difference the roll up windows on the convertible coupe and the lack of Windows on the runabout, like the difference between a convertible sedan and a pheaton?

Yes, you are correct. Some runabouts have boattail rear end styling, too. I think you can say that runabout and roadster are pretty much the same.
