Brake cable repair/replacement

1928 526 front brake cable has a few broken strands. Does anyone know of a place that can re-manufacture the brake cable assy?
Cable wear is where the cable passes through the frame so just swedging a barrel on the cable will not work.
I am in Seattle but can send the original cable with end fittings anywhere.
Any help?

Bob Turnquist used to have them remanufactured and sold out of his Hibernia Restorations shop; he's gone and that was decades ago but it might be worth the cost of a phone call to see if any inventory remains. Other than that I can think of several shops that could probably make or repair one. Brian Joseph's Classic & Exotic, and Steve Babinsky's Automotive Restorations.

You might check with aviation places too, light airplanes use cable operated controls. Not sure of the cost but here's a link to a quality outfit that might be able to replicate your cable.
