There are not many people today who were around when Packard's roamed the roads as new and old used cars.Has anyone from PI has ever considered a merger with PAC?

I'll be there. I've actually been the last two years. I just sneak around the meet and take pictures. Looking for odds and ends at the swap meet as well. I have to go into work late Saturday night unfortunately.

GTO, I am sure that is a subject that is still a sore spot with a lot of the older members of the club. Sadly I don't see anything changing in that regards until they move on to the Concourse in the sky.

Probably the most opportune time in recent years for the two clubs to at least come together and jointly work for a common cause was the Centennial in 1999. PI's decision to abstain and hold their own Centennial celebration a few miles away (in Cleveland) was IMO very unfortunate on their part and really widened the intensity of ill feelings between the two. Perhaps things will be different in 2099.

I believe some of the PI officials were at the 2014 PAC meet in Warren Ohio, so I would like to believe things are better than some think, but I do not know that for fact.
I do like the cars and one day I will make the February gathering of Packard people and cars in southern California, until then post pictures!
