on my 1934 there is a horn wire that goes through the steering colum there are 3 copper tubes one fits inside the other. how does the wire go through the tubes when the small tube is crimped and has a key way?

The two rotating copper tubes are for the headlight switch and hand throttle controls. Horn wire goes up the center, see pages 166 and 168A of the 33-36 Parts List for illustrations.
