Anyone know what the physical difference is between a 160 vs. 180 1940 Packard limousine?

Mainly in the dashboard trim. Later model 1940 One Eightys had cloisonnet hub cap medallions.
In other words, not very much. Unlike the differences between the 160 and 180 for the 1941-42 models, which was much more significant.

You asked what "physical difference." That is the only difference. There is nothing different mechanically.
