1937 115c radiator and cowl support color

What is the proper color for a radiator and the cowl support? Are they both semi-gloss black like the frame, or is the radiator gloss black?

More importantly, is there a resource somewhere that will tell me what the color of various components is supposed to be? I bought a book that had "numerous production details" that I thought would help, but it fails to address color on most occasions.

Thanks!

Radiators were generally painted with a special paint, low gloss and low solids, that was formulated to minimize the insulating quality of the paint and thus permit better heat transfer. Eastwood sells it in aerosol. Paint build-up on radiator cores from repetitive or thick paintings is a common cause of overheating, I'd strip the old paint before repainting with the correct paint.

Packard Int'l has a very detailed description of the engine compartment-colors etc. I believe they charge something for a copy-

Thanks everyone. My re-cored radiator came painted by the shop. It is a little glossier than the chassis, but I think I will make sure it is radiator paint and then just run it.

Thanks for the info on the PI flyer too.
