I am seeking information on how to upgrade my 1953 Packard Clipper brake master cylinder from a single circuit to a dual reservoir system to operate drum/disc
brakes. I am not successful so far in finding a cylinder that will fit into the tight space of the old one. Any ideas? I appreciate your help.

G'day jbswanny,
Glad you made it here from the Chatroom with your question, so to PackardInfo.

Can't help with your query but there have been a number like this in the past, here's a recent one. And you can use the Advanced Search function button at the foot of this page to find others.

Now, as I said in the Chatroom "I'll respond to your post and "put the hard word on you". And here goes - I invite you to include your '53 Clipper in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardIfo!

Thanks Mal. Right now my packard is in many pieces, so I won't register it right now. I am not comfortable with computer (my wife is typing and researching for me). I found and read those posts you referred to. Thank you. From those I found others having same troubles, but no answers. Still working on a solution...

Don't let that "minor" matter deter you. Because I'm such a big proponent of the Registry, I'm sure your researcher(and wife) can Register it and the entry can then be updated as required!
