Hey guys. Sorry if this has been answered, I did a search and didn't see anything. I was wondering how to remove the brake drums on a 54' Clipper? Is it the usual, whacking it until it comes loose or something special? Thanks!

G'day Bryce,

Best way to search on here is to use the "Advanced Search" button. Type in "drum removal" in the Keywords field, hit the Search button and voila, plenty of posts about this topic!

This is how I removed mine.

I went with a five arm puller, read somewhere that is better then the three arm puller.

attached is a little report that I wrote on the subject for our regional newsletter several years ago. A couple tips may be helpful.

Good advice provided above. Puller should only be struck in the rotating plane. Do not strike the end of the puller, doing this may cause damage to bearings and center block.

I got mine off of Amazon. Search for universal hub puller or something similar and see what comes up.
