Motor Mount Torque

Hi Folks,

I have a 1941 110 jr. Been making slow progress with my frame off. Body is on and it's time to put in the motor and trans this weekend.

I have a new 2 piece front motor mount rubber insulator to insulator to install. Is there a torque spec for these? How tight do I want to squish the rubber?

Thanks! And Happy Thanksgiving!

Rich

Tighten the bolts as per any other bolt that size until the metal portions bottom out together under the bolt heads making a tight joint. The shape of the front plate and the retainer determine the rubber's compression.

Thanks! Got the motor in. I was a little surprised how geometrically tight it all was, with firewall and the steeering pieces.
