Hi I am restoring a 1937 Packard 120 sedan and some of the door weather strip channels are rusted out. Is there any of these available? I work in a machine shop and could make tooling to make them if not. Or are they using a glue in style now?

Thank you,
Willie

Using a good contact {3m Black} cement is much easier. The new rubber is pretty stiff and getting the doors to close correctly is tough when using the clips or channels.

So you recommend removing the channels and getting a gluein style weatherstrip? I tried to post a picture but it wouldn't load

Thank you,
Willie
