G'day Gerd,

The 1936 120 Owners Manual, available for free download in the Literature and Manuals Section under Owner & Operation Manuals, on page 51 under the heading of Rear Axle says this: "The standard gear ratio is 4.09 to 1 with an optional ratio of 4.54 to 1"

I'll get an R-9 transmission soon. The relay, kickdown switch, switch & bracket and O.D. Cable & switch I have already. I hope that the effort and the result is similar to the R-11. I will report on the installation in spring.
