Does anyone who owns a 1935 or 1936 120 have a picture of the front (drivers side) bumper bracket assembly as installed that will show how the license bracket is attached?

This is a picture of the two pieces that I have for the license bracket assembly. I believe these are original pieces. I have the front bumper brackets installed, but can't figure out how these attach.

Here is a photo of my 37 Six Convertible Coupe with a front license plate. The plate fastens to a bracket that fastens to another bracket that fastens to the bumper with the same bolt as the bumper guard. I have seen some front plates on these 35-37 junior cars mounted on the RH side. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. Is there any chance you could take a photo looking down on the brackets (vertically) from above, but slightly in front of the license plate?

That should show me exactly how it goes together. Thanks again !! Daryl

the upper piece is an air cleaner bracket, or something foreign.
The lower piece is a 35-36 front license bracket. It attaches to the inner driver side bumper brace via the two small holes which match two holes in the brace, and the bottom of the license plate bolts to the bracket.

Thank you very much. It bolted right up. Interesting that the license plate bracket is slightly tilted to the left. Also, I have no idea what the other bracket is for. It's too big to be the bracket for holding the air cleaner( I have that piece). It came with the car and seems to mold (curve) with the very front of the front bumper brackets. It is very thick, heavy steel.

Maybe you have a bracket intended for mounting on the RH side? I have seen photos of them on both sides.
