To carry this on step further, how feasible is it to put a '38 steering column in a '39 car(120) if you already have floor shift?

I have no direct knowledge of this company or their workmanshiphttp://qualityrestorations.com/packard/ but there is a photo toward the middle of the Packard page showing what they call a fudge marble finish on what appears to be a Banjo wheel. No idea if it is actual proof of what they can do or just illustrating what was available at the time.

Just to chuck my 2-bits worth in here..., I have just finished R&Ring the steering box on my '39 Six and, as such, had the steering wheel off and apart. Re the wheel on the car on Craig's list, it does not have the inner chrome horn ring, which I believe was standard with the '39 'deluxe' version. (shown in the submitted attachment) I got the inner horn button remade in the last round of Yesterday's Radio's manufacturing; not sure where to look now. The inner chrome ring on my wheel was broken (120 degrees missing between 2 of the 3 spokes) and I was unable to track one down, so reinstalled it anyway. Doesn't look too bad but would sure love to find one. Good luck.
