Of course, I knew that Ultramatic was standard on the Pacific which is why I pointed out the clutch pedal but I didn't know that production of the Clipper Custom stopped when the Executive was introduced! Factory photos show both side by side so it never crossed my mind that that had happened.

I've personally never seen a '54 senior car with a GS. I always figured that they let the Clippers be the Guinea pigs.

My car has a GS and was build at some point after August 15th, 1954.

Randy,
Is this car a "fair weather" car?
I don't see any windshield wipers!

Is the steering column chrome, or gray?

Kev,
That is an interesting statement.
I'm almost certain that I have seen a Pacific, and a Patrician with gear-start, but unfortunately these cars are no longer available for me verify.

I've had two 54 Pattys come through with Gear Start.

Hi

Another '54 Pacific surfaces, this time in the far West, not badly priced either.

.....epigram time.....
Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

Not far from my Oregon High Desert workshop where I'll be in a couple weeks and would make a nice mate to my 1954 Patricians! Too bad I can't afford it.
