Hello, I have a 1936 Packard. There are two sliding buttons/knobs attached to the horn. Dose anyone know what they are for?

They are not really "attached to the horn". The one on the left is the parking/headlight switch, the one on the right is the hand throttle. They rotate long brass tubes which exit the steering column at its base where the actual headlight switch and throttle controls are located. You might well benefit from browsing the owner's manual for your car to become familiar with many other details.

When speaking about a 36 Packard, always best to note whether it's a junior (120), or a senior (Eight, Super Eight, or Twelve) as they are totally different vehicles.

I've never seen that feature on a "junior" (120) car, only on the senior cars.

G'day akteddder,

to PackardInfo.

I invite you to include your '36 Packard, whether it be a 120(unlikely given the comment above), Eight, Super Eight or Twelve, in the Packard Owner's Registry.
