Which is a lockup converter transmission and would place the same strains on the main bearings if locked up at low RPMs.

As Fred has pointed out, it's possible to raise the lockup point on the Twin Ultramatic as is also possible on the 700R4.

with the 700 r 4 in the packard how did you get the speedo accurate and did you find a suitable prndl for it also did you have to modify the drive shaft? thank you
