I've owned the "car" ( pile of rust) since about 2008. Before I would have to move it with a stiff broom and dustpan I started its restoration in July. It's a long wheelbase 7 passenger with division made on a 20" stretched frame. To make it whole again it took parts of the original frame plus frame components from a 2401 and a 2406.

From information I found, Ray Dietrich had a short-lived car building firm in Michigan in the early 50's. He designed and built this car and outfitted the interior with many special features including down filled rear cushions and a reclining rear seat. Four of these cars were built but the other three were completed by Henney with more utilitarian interiors and none of the special features. There seem to be two different cars in the old photos, one without skirts or rear fender louvers, the other with

While not having a split windshield or being a convertible, it may be THE LAST PACKARD DIETRICH.
