so looking over Ken's blog showing the bearing he used to rebuild his center link on his 37 and I see it is a 6203-ffa, which equates to 6203-2rs, etc etc.

so I ordered some bearings months ago to rebuild some center links. they were 6203, but the size is completely wrong.

anyone care to tell me what I did wrong here? did they change the bearing size?

I can still get the one from NAPA that Ken used, but its 15 bucks a pop!! I bought the 10 pack I have for 9 bucks, just they are useless now.

even the cross referenced number on autozone points to the smaller bearing. wth!

the ones I bought months ago were
ID (Inner Diameter): 17 mm
OD (Outer Diameter): 40 mm
Thickness: 12 mm

which is too small.

the napa one is linked below and is larger.

here is the autozone one, which is smaller

looks like there is a difference, the FFA is for agricultural products and somehow is different.

found it at oreilly for much less or one can use Toro 251-207 cheaply enough.

and another good number 1635-2RS
