Danke schoen, Gerd, that was another significant number, the second one today! It is the lowest known TP for 1954 to date. I see you didn't give me the VN, but the Briggs number (that's the one on a tag near the heater) shows the car to be only the 4th Pacific body built. The true VN is often the same, but if you can confirm I'd appreciate it, that's the # on the riveted stainless plate on the door jamb.

BTW: Dave, thank you for your German words.
Actually I've wondered more than once if this format supports umlauts; not knowing I've always used the "oe" but let me try it just for fun, danke schön. We'll see what happens when I hit the "submit". PS - Viola! It's a dull day you don't learn something new! And pardon me for rambling and filling Kevin's pages with nonsense.

Guscha or any German experts.
Is there a difference between the US and German pronounciations of Munich ????? An argument ensued a number of years ago about a Germany made motorcycle named Clymer Munch Mammoth (NOTE the "i" missing between "n" and "c" in Munch). Is it Munch or Munich???? Munch (no "i")is how it was spelled on the tank badges of the m/c. Or maybe there is supposed to be an umlaut somewhere?????

Munich is the "americanized" (ed- or "anglicized") version of the proper name in German, München I believe is correct. Pronunciation of course would vary with the dialect of German, and the differences would be substantial.
OK you real Germans, chime in and correct me!

Can't offer you a thousand more but here's a few--all running cars or could be in short order. NOTE: All the TP#s were in triangles
D081567 - 5682-1873 D043048 - 5522-5159 C75278 - 5472-3477 Briggs plate gone C06746 - 2652-6140 Briggs same # as VIN A54785 - 2465-6867 Briggs 2465-6864 710801 - 2122-4280 Briggs 2122-3869 He also had a 1930 #101226 but I didn't know where to look for other number(s). It was not obvious & so many cars in dark garage couldn't open doors on any very wide. Hope I didn't screw any up. A couple, one a 55, I just could not read TP because stamping so faint or maybe bodywork so didn't include. He has 4-5 more but this was all I could get at today.
