Having seen Earle C. Anthony's armless Flying Lady ornaments and 1956 Patricians with chrome tail fins on top of the rear fenders, I wasn't sure what else he may have dreamed up as unlikely as a different Cormorant might have been. Anyway, I posted not to find if it was aftermarket as we already knew that but rather if anyone knew its source or era as I've never seen this type before. Finding others like it, it now seems more likely that I just never noticed it before.

The owner couldn't find a logo as such but she did write just now to say that there is what appears to be a capitol Y within a circle.
