I also have a lot of spare 1940 110 parts as I've had several of them. No sheet metal, unfortunately (other than a splash panel) but some mechanical and lots of small parts. If anyone can restore this car, you seem like the person with the skills to do it so be sure to start a blog for it once you begin!

Well floors and rockers inner and outer will need to be replaced and some other metal fabrication will need to be done to the main body the door bottoms would need fabrication and some other small areas will need metal work but still not sure yet if I will go this route or find another body Flackmaster is looking into a body for me

If you are already looking for another body, then you might as well look at another car with INFINITELY more potential. The two cars listed below come from listings on the "Various CL Pickings" thread.

The first one may be "too complete" for you if you are looking to work on a Packard, rather than driving a Packard.

The second one needs some TLC, but at least three years less work than what you have now. Besides that, when you are done you'll have a Super 8, senior car that is CCCA eligible for their tours and much more marketable when you go to sell it.

When you are done with that 1940 110 sedan it might be worth $22,500. Meanwhile, the 1941 160 sedan might be worth $45,000 - about double. Think about this. It costs the same amount of money to metal finish, prime and paint a 110 fender as it does a 160 fender - the fender does not know the difference. However, the market does and they want a Super 8 much more than a Six.

IMHO, unless your 1940 has SIGNIFICANT sentimental value (in the tens of thousands of dollars and extra years of work) then skip looking for a body and find another Packard to save.

OK, finally got ahold of a friend on a good body. Actually a REALLY good body, already stripped, gutted and metal work pretty much done. Price is $2000 in Central NY. Yeah, I know its a bit far distance-wise, but it would put you years ahead in your project.
