1st photo - I know I've seen these parts, thinking(dangerous for me) that they are "filler pieces" between fenders and radiator supports. Or at least they are in that general area.

2nd photo - A guess, that they are load spreading washers for use in bolting front fenders to the body?

3rd photo - ?????

the second picture is for the front bumperettes I checked the rear and those are on but the front bumper is apart and off the car so they must be for the front so that picture is solved. 1 down 2 to go

I believe photo #3 is what the 1935-1941 Parts List describes as a "Brace, wheel carrier (side) wheel." It is on page 333 of the list under index number 19.1195, part number 354062.

I thought it may have something to do with the wheel carrier in the fender but I tried to put it into the holes in the fender for the wheel carrier support and it is to large to go in to the holes. I dont know if theres away to get a picture but I tried to click on various things for that parts book and could not get a picture.

My first thought on seeing the photo was exactly what others have posted, that it is the side mount tire support bar. Dredging up decades-old memory, my 1941 had a cast or steel bracket attached somehow down inside the well and the arm connected to that. Mine was a 120A which from the factory had 160 trim and had only a single passenger side mount but it should be identical to your 160. If I can locate any photos - if I even have any - of the assembly, I'll post them.

Thank you for the photos and help. The bar that I have must be for a different year packard. The threads size in my Bar is 5/8 inch and the nut takes a 15/16 wrench on both ends. The largest bolt I can get in the bracket on the firewall and fender is 1/2 inch.It looks the same as what is pictured just larger I will try to add photos. its about 20 inchs long.I Guess the bad thing is I looked at the parts that I have And dont see any other bars like this and probably got lost from years of being apart.
