Replating a Packard Adonis

I am taking my Packard Adonis to a chrome shop.
The shop did an excellent job on my Goddess of Speed and has done work for cars displayed at Pebble Beach, so I'm comfortable with my choice of shop.
I got the Adonis & chair then got the base so they have already been separated.
The chair has a good quarter inch remaining on each of the rivets.
Does anyone have any suggestions about attaching the chair to the base or any other suggestions on things to do or to avoid?
Thank you.
Gordon

My Cormorant is attached by machine screws. Is there enough of the chair legs to thread? Another approach might be to epoxy/JB Weld studs (cut the head off a machine screw) into the chair holds.

You could probably pop rivet to the chair but I don't like to do anything to expand pot metal

I would expect threads in the boy for fine-thread machine screws and tiny lock washers. Maybe check the Owner Registry for someone with your year and PM them the question.

Thank you blue40devil and JoeSantana.
I talked with Jared at Victoria Plating (in Victoria BC) about attaching the chair to the base. There is quite a bit of the chair leg remaining. Either threading the chair legs or attaching studs would work. Jared said that he would solder the studs to the legs. I like the idea.
Again, thanks for the responses.
