Yes unfortantly it is different than mine. I believe the
400,Partritan, and Carribean are all the same and the Clippers are not the same. I do really apprciate the time and effort and wished it fit. I will ship it back to you when I get a chance. Again thank you!! Gary

Physical size is the same and the bezels will fit dash openings in all models over both years but as Don pointed out the Caribbean, Patrician and 400 versions have a brushed matte finish across the flat surface where STARTER is printed. Shiny chrome surrounds all the edges around the flat surface and about a 1/8" band around the key opening. The Clipper version is shiny chrome all over.

While I have not seen one or tried it some have mentioned using very fine grit wet sandpaper to dull the chrome slightly and make a Clipper bezel look more like the senior item. If you can't find the proper bezel and have some old chrome trim piece to experiment with you might try sanding a portion and see what the results would look like.
