Hello everyone. I have recently acquired two early 20's Packards. I have enough major parts to build one car minus an transmission and engine manifolds. I am collecting smaller parts like headlights and rims. I have two chassis. One is a touring car, the other a roadster I believe. I also have two more cowls. I have three ID tags (one coal does not have an ID tag).

I am most interested in the touring car to find out the exact year. That ID tag is

U5510

The engine I have in the second chassis that I believe is a roadster is

U996A

An help identifying the year(s) that I have would be greatly appreciated.

Packard did not produce by model year in that era. Yes, U5510 corresponds to First Series Single Six 116, produced starting in 1920 and continuing on into 1922.
