Also in my new box of "Packard" parts are what I believe are supports for a trunk rack, as I have a rear mounted spare on my 526 I can use some help as too if it is a support and what years. Thanks Much Dell

That is a Lucas distributor

Lucas 40411A - DVXH6A made in 1953 and fits the following

Alvis TA21, TB21 and TC108G(Graber bodied)

Lucas, Prince of Darkness........I heard them all yet I've ha a 1966 Aston, a 65 convertible and 67 coupe E-Type and a Sunbeam Alpine and never had a lick of trouble with the electrical systems - lucky I guess?

Thanks blue40devil; It came with my 28 526 in a box of parts. It looks as if would attach to the Packard 6, now I need to find it a good home.

Yes. For example, snaps are used on both carpet itself and underlayment pad on my 1934. See pix of them in the PAC forum under "Original Detail Features" in the Packard Photos group.
