Points help!

Working on my 37 120. Sourced some NOS points, Autolite IGP-3028-LS.
On the new points, the spring is not fixed to the body, and it doesn't seem to want to hold the points closed. See how the old points the spring is fixed. Do I have bad parts, or am I missing something? Thanks! Attach file:  (246.17 KB) (285.40 KB) (195.53 KB)

The spring on the NOS points should be installed underneath the copper strip, not above it.
