G'day again,
And for adding the '55 to the Owner Registry, twice!

At least it looks like that's what happened. If you identify the superfluous entry then BigKev can delete that one.

Looks like some extra nice glass from what can be seen. Appears to be tinted option which is very cool - literally, in summer it can reduce inside temps considerably when the car sits in the sun. The side glass definitely looks tinted, and I believe the windshield would be tinted and shaded with the same option - at least that's how it was on our '55 400.

Good luck on the car. Nice to see another Constellation saved.

Guscha, I try to keep my kids involved even at their young age. I want them to grow up with a strong sense of being able to accomplish things no matter hard it seems.

The glass is in very good shape, and seems to have a light green tint. I wish I had the data sheet, but it appears to be gone.

ozstatman, will do. I did it once, my computer froze so I did it again. It must have loaded that right before.

If the glass is tinted you will find a "SOLEX PPG" logo on each piece including windshield and vent wings

Very nice choice! The 2dr HT is particularly nice.

In approx 10 years your kids will be the "hit of the ball" when going to the *prom* in "their" (helped to rebuild) Clipper!

BUT, I've been told that getting into/outof the back seat of a 2-dr Packard (or probably 2-dr anything for that matter) is somewhat problematic for a young lady in a modern short prom dress. Be forewarned.

Have fun!

Craig

Thanks 41parpack! Craig, maybe I should buy a limo. It seems like good reasoning to me.
