Don't know how 39super8's, Jim, quote got attributed to Owen_Dyneto, Dave, but that's right of course, I've been looking at 110's & 120's lately that's my excuse. The cover plate on the left side of the Super8 engine has a sheetmetal "inner skin" with strategically placed holes to direct the cooled water to where it's needed most, exhaust valves I believe. Took me a while to find them but here are the pic's of Wade's '37 Super8 sideplate.
