Many " American gangsters" among the Packard drivers. Below the next "gangster car".
Kind of inconsequent that the door hinges are inward (covert) while the piano hinge of the golf back stowage is outward (visible).
What looks like an interior mirror in the last photo below, seems to be a metallic backside of a sticker.

While perusing the memory card I found another three photos. To examplify the quantity of displayed cars, I added two pics, shown at the webpage of the museum. Extensive touring exhibitions make it worthwhile to return to the Autoworld.

At the beginning of the year I shot this photograph in Belgium.

As some of you may remember, the car was wrong labeled.

Steve (58L8134) mentioned:
Quote:
...The turquoise and black Packard is a 1929 Model 640 Custom Eight, Body Style No. 345, Sedan-Limousine, seven passengers, factory price $5,985...

He added with youthful enthusiasm:
Quote:
...Bets they would be delighted to have accurate information available to visitors...

I did my best. That's the result.

First pic in post #52 above:

Look thru windshield of the Packard. In the background is a 37 Cord SC. BUT, the front wheel and tyre on the Cord looks unusualy small in diameter.

Keith, I have admired the Cord in February and now. In 1937 its designer looked way ahead. Can't say anything about the wheels, unfortunately.
Your then request related to the Minerva radiator cap had been the reason for the next two pictures.

The last pic above shows two iconic cars in the background. The 1965 Lincoln is a large car and it needs this gigantic Cadillac to dominate it. I like both, the clear lines of the Lincoln as well as the hugeness of the Cadillac.

Another Lincoln with very clear lines is the Continental Mark II. This car had everything to be successful in Europe. Even the almost five-figure sales price would have been acceptable for those, who could afford a Mercedes 300 with a price tag of 22,000 DM (basic version).
The exchange rate of 1:4.2 elevated the Lincoln into stratosphere for Germans in 1957. Pity!
